Atlas Altera is worldbuilding in epic proportions. The goal is to tell a more inspired story of humankind.  To appreciate the richness of Altera, geography must be first relearned.

 

A political map is not the ideal mode for learning about geography, but it is familiar to most people, and acts as a pragmatic proxy for showcasing the true diversity propped up in Altera.

The chorographical or regional map of Altera is meant to correct the fact that modern Western geography skews comparative scale and how different parts of the world are investigated.
